This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for one (1) new or demo unit hydro-vac truck 92017 or 2018 model year) for Brantford Power Inc. (“BPI”), as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

BPI requests one single engine hydro-vac truck equipped with a boiler for a heated water capability. This unit will be performing a variety of hydro-excavation operations in all weather conditions twelve months of the year.  The unit shall consist of a Positive Displacement (PD) blower vacuum system, a hydraulically driven high pressure water pump, an enclosed sealed body for storage of collected debris and equipped with a self-contained water supply as the source for the water pump system.

This RFQ bid solicitation is being issued by the City of Brantford on behalf of Brantford Power Inc.  All issues related to this RFQ pre-award shall be dealt with by the City, on behalf of Brantford Power Inc. The agreement shall be between Brantford Power Inc. and the selected respondent.
