The City of Brantford (“City”) is implementing a Standing Offer list to retain the services of one or more contractors for sewer and water repair assignments on an “”as and when needed” basis under a purchase order terms and conditions arrangement or project contract.

Using an office or equipment storage yard as the departure point for jobs located within a travelling distance of no more than sixty (60) kilometers from Brantford’s City Hall building (located at 58 Dalhousie Street, Brantford, Ontario N3T 2J2) is required for inclusion on the list.

This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the City to prospective respondents to qualify for the eligibility in order to provide the services as further described in the Deliverables. 

The City intends to create a list of qualified contractors to provide storm and sanitary sewer repairs, repair sewer services, main sewer flushing and inspection, repair water services, repair broken watermains and other related services. Services required under this agreement fall within the following four categories:

Category 1 - Water Distribution and Sewer Collection Systems Work;

Category 2 - Hydro-Vac Excavation;

Category 3 - Licensed Plumbing and Drain Repair, Main Sewer Flushing and Inspection; and

Category 4 - Licensed Plumbing and Drain Repair, Residential and Small Water Repairs.

The Standing Offer term is to be from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2029.
