This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of construction services for the Greenwich Sanitary Trunk Sewer - Microtunnel (Clarence Street to Greenwich Sewage Pumping Station), as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

Proposed construction services include:

·  21 m of 375 mm dia. PVC sanitary sewer at 6 m depth

·  407 m of 1200 mm dia. reinforced concrete casing at 7-10 m depth installed by microtunnel

·  414 m of 600 mm reinforced concrete sanitary sewer carrier pipe with casing spacers

·  47 m of 600 mm dia. reinforced concrete sanitary sewer at 9 m depth

·  Connection to existing 900mm stub

·  Decommissioning 150 m of 300-350 mm sanitary sewer

·  All related connections, maintenance holes, appurtenances, commissioning and restoration

The Contract shall be substantially performed by 28 February 2018.
