This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of non-profit and net new Canada-Wide Early Learning Child Care (CWELCC) child care spaces in the City of Brantford and/or County of Brant, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Federal/Provincial CWELCC agreement dictates the percentages of for-profit and non-profit spaces. Locally, the City has approved the maximum number of for-profit spaces, based on designated spaces to date.  As a result, only net new non-profit child care spaces will be eligible for approval. 

Proposed non-profit child care spaces must be net new, meaning an increase to the number of spaces that results in the expansion of the entire City of Brantford/County of Brant Child Care system.
