This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Radio System Engineering Study, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The City of Brantford invites Proposals from consultants to assist on determining and outlining the feasible options that will enhance or replace the current trunked radio system in accordance with Industry Canada requirements and direction. The objective will be accomplished by a review of the existing P25 trunked radio system used by public safety and public service organizations with the City of Brantford and within the County of Brant, and Six Nations and to examine the alternatives and emerging technologies available regarding the long term provisions of two-way voice, radio and data communications to municipal and public services partners.
