The City of Brantford is issuing this Notice of Procurement to advise the market of a planned Request for Proposal (RFP) for progressive design-build for the Brantford Sports and Entertainment Centre which will become the new home of the Brantford Bulldogs OHL hockey team. The City is seeking a partnership with an experienced and sufficiently resourced progressive design build team/collective to work collaboratively towards a new facility.
A progressive design build (PDB) delivery model will be utilized for this project. Details of the RFP requirements are being finalized and will be provided to prospective bidders through the City’s Bids and Tenders portal. An RFP Evaluation breakdown will be provided as part of the documents so proponents will be aware of how they are being evaluated. It is anticipated that the RFP documents will be posted on Bids and Tenders in mid-late February of 2025.
