A digital bid bond in the amount of $35,000.00 is required for this tender. This Request for Tenders (“RFT”) is an invitation
by the City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective bidders
to submit bids for the provision of installation of pre-cast pressure reducing
valve chambers, pre-cast check valve chambers and bledder lines on existing
watermains at various locations,as
further described in the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). Estimated Quantities 1 – 2.4m dia. pre-cast pressure reducing valve chamber c/w appurtenances 2 – 1.8m dia. pre-cast pressure reducing valve chamber c/w appurtenances 2 – 2.4m dia. pre-cast check valve chamber c/w appurtenances 4 – 1.8m dia. pre-cast check valve chamber c/w appurtenances 1 – 50mm bleeder line on existing 500mm main 1 – 100mm M.J. gate valve c/w 25mm bleeder line 1 – 400mm M.J. butterfly valve c/w 38mm bleeder line 5 – 25mm bleeder line on existing main (200mm – 300mm main) Anticipated construction start date is October 16, 2017, with 20 working days for completion. |
