This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of Brantford (the “City”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Sidewalk/Curb Removal and Replacement, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

Contractor services required for the construction and/or restoration of sidewalks and full block sidewalk replacements in various locations throughout the City, as further described herein.

 The Contractor will work in conjunction with City Public works staff in completing the work as outlined in this RFQ document.

Estimated Annual Quantities for Main Items

i)   Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk (125mm thick concrete) including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Full Block)- 2000m2

ii)  Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk at driveway (150mm thick concrete) including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Full Block)- 750m2

iii) Remove and Replace Asphalt Driveways -70mm in thickness HL3 Fine including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Full Block)- 1250m2

iv) Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk (125mm thick concrete) including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Various Locations)- 2000m2

v)  Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk at driveway (150mm thick concrete) including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Various Locations)- 750m2

vi) Remove and Replace Asphalt Driveways -70mm in thickness HL3 Fine including granular base, topsoil and sod restorations (Various Locations)- 1250m2
